The AI Effect- Unraveling the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on our Lives and Work Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the world we inhabit. This immersive course goes beyond the rudimentary understanding of AI, offering a comprehensive exploration of how it is transforming society, technology, business, and our everyday lives. Through real-world examples and engaging discussion, students will gain a sophisticated understanding of key AI concepts and tools, current and emerging applications of AI across various industries, and the important ethical issues surrounding bias, education, privacy, employment, and regulation. The course emphasizes the every day impacts and implications of AI, preparing students to critically assess, ethically employ, and adapt to the expanding influence of AI. Students will utilize basic AutoCAD commands to create two-dimensional production and architectural drawings. Students will use templates, layer control, dimensioning, editing, text, symbol creation, and blocks to create and modify geometrical designs and print/plot drawings for presentation. Allows students to create designs in 3D, annotate with 2D drafting elements, and access building information from the building models database. Students will have a thorough knowledge of many of the Revit basics needed to be productive in a classroom or office environment. Also offered for credit as CADT130. In these lessons, you'll use the Keyboarding Pro 5 program, a typing tutorial designed for personal computers, to learn how to touch-type, or to type text you read from a printed page or computer screen without looking at the keyboard. With the skills you master here, you'll become faster and more confident at the keyboard. By the end of the course, you'll know how to touch-type the alphabetic, numeric, and symbol keys; create, save, and edit word processing documents; and successfully take a timed writing test during a job interview. Note: This online class is held in partnership with Ed2Go. Two lessons are released each week for the six-week duration of the class. Students do not have to be present when lessons are released and will have access to all lessons as they are released until the class ends. The interactive discussion area that accompanies each lesson will automatically close two weeks after the lesson is released.
