This introduction course will discuss the technologies behind the tremendous advances of AI in recent years. We’ll also examine AI potential applications, including advantages, disadvantages, limitations, and challenges. Our overview will include a brief look at applications like ChatGPT, Google Image Net, and others for image generation. Finally, we’ll discuss ethical considerations that should guide AI research, development, and legislation. Is AI a boom or a bust for human creativity, education, and the job market? We will explain in easy-to-understand terms the fundamental concepts behind wireless communications and review its history and milestones. Equipped with that knowledge we will dive into explaining Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G/4G/5G, etc., also in simple terms and review their benefits, limitations, and challenges. Students will learn the many ways in which these technologies help, and they will also develop much more realistic expectations about what they can and cannot do. We will also look at applications that are in place and examine what may lie in the future as the technology continues to evolve. Technical aspects including individual device pairing information will be kept to a minimum but a certain amount of technical content is inherent to this topic. After learning a brief history of wine and how it is made, you’ll learn how to taste it and how to identify what it is about a wine that you like. Through these tastings, you will be able to identify the characteristic components of wine. Putting your wine knowledge to work you’ll explore the basic principles of wine and food pairing, buying, storing, serving, and evaluating wine.
