In this course, we’ll explore the nature of religion and spirituality from an anthropological perspective. We’ll address the BIG questions: How does a person come to believe something? Is belief compatible with science? What do people of various faiths actually believe—and how do their spiritual traditions shape their lives? Does religion structure society, or vice versa? Only students who have attended a Ghost Hunting Equipment session or are familiar with ghost hunting equipment are permitted to attend the investigation. Portions of the investigation will occur in the dark. The group size will be kept small. Students are to provide their own transportation to the Inn at Lincoln Square in Gettysburg and they are also encouraged to bring ghost hunting equipment if they desire.
