Topics such as using the histogram and a gray card are also covered with a brief Lightroom Demo showing how to use the gray card to correct white balance. Some topics include camera settings, lens choices, focus modes, posing, and tricks to overcoming difficult situations (i.e.: stubborn kids, bad lighting). Participants will be instructed on one solid way to organize their files but will be offered multiple considerations. Concepts covered will include file organization, external vs. internal hard drives, key wording, image rating, understanding metadata and file extensions, and a brief introduction to Adobe Creative Suite as it relates to cataloguing. Summer is a great time to see butterflies in Maryland. With cooperative weather, we may see a dozen or more species including several only seen in the summer season. Expect up close viewing and plan to take plenty of pictures. Please bring your own water and snacks and be prepared for some moderate walking. Note: Tour location is pending.
