FREDERICK.EDU/ADULTED UPDATE SUMMER/FALL 2023 Adult Basic Education Classes The Adult Education Program offers small classes and a relaxed atmosphere to assist you in reaching your goals of improving your skills in reading, writing, and math. High School Diploma Preparation Classes The Adult Education Program offers classes to prepare students to pass the GED exams to earn a Maryland High School Diploma. To begin, attend one of the orientations and learn how classes are structured and how to register. Weekday classes are held two times per week for three hours and are offered mornings or evenings. ORIENTATIONS The first step to begin English classes is to attend an orientation session. Orientations take place Saturdays or weekdays in cycles before class start dates. In Summer/ Fall 2023, orientation cycles begin in June and July.
