Surgical Technology
Certificate (Career)
Provides students with a foundation in the principles and practices of the
surgical technologist's roles during the phases of surgery. The foundations
of practice are applied through extensive preceptored clinical experience.
CAAHEP accreditation entitles program graduates to apply to sit for the national
certifying examination in surgical technology. Enrollment is limited by the
availability of clinical facilities.
A grade of “C” or better must be earned in all courses.
