Commercial Electric
Continues concepts and skills covered in the first two courses of the elec-
trical building trades program. This course covers wiring methods mainly
used in commercial construction. Topics covered to include: conduit
(bending, installation), commercial lighting (fluorescent, HID), and trans-
formers. Students will also have an overview of the applicable sections
of the National Electrical Code (NEC), including box/conduit fill, and load
calculations. This course is offered in a Hybrid format where the lecture
portion of the course is completed online outside of class meeting times.

fire alarms, photovoltaic, and electric controls. Students will receive
hands on experience working with materials and components in a lab

National Electric Code Update-10 Hour
This course covers the updates to the National Electric Code (NEC). The
NEC is updated every 3 years. Learn about the important changes that
have happened to the NEC, and how perform new calculations. An over-
view of NEC navigation and application will assist you in staying compli-
ant. There will also be time to cover NEC related questions.

Fundamentals of HVACR
This course will cover the fundamentals of heating, cooling, ventila-
