Computer Animation

Certificate (Career)

Introduces students to the current animation and modeling software, such as

Blender, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Autodesk Maya. This certificate covers animation

production, computer graphics, interactive 3D foundations, and 3D modeling &

animation. Students will learn the skills necessary to work as a Digital Graphic

Designer, Multimedia Designer, Digital Animator, or Character Rigger.

A.A. Degree (Transfer)

Designed for students who are exploring academic and career options that

are not represented by another Frederick Community College program or who

are undecided about their educational goals. Students who have a specific

career or educational goal should consult with an academic advisor to select a

degree program other than General Studies.

• Students must complete their credit

English and Mathematics

within the first

24 credits.

• One course must meet the

cultural competence graduation requirement.

• Students should consult ARTSYS for transferability of courses within the

University of Maryland System.

curriculum providing a coherent intellectual experience for all students. Students
