Sub-Priority 3b: Expand footprint of existing CEWD programming to increase student success, student access, and meet regional business
needs.
Desired Outcomes:
1. Increase CE to credit pathways in health sciences, childcare, and technical training programs and continue to develop test prep programs in
support of academic student needs
2. Increase CEWD dual enrollment participation
3. Develop preparation courses for students entering continuing education workforce programming as an alternative to taking developmental
education courses.
4. Align pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship opportunities with existing programming

FY 20 Determine what industry credentials can be incorporated into CATI programs (CATI Manager)
Work collaboratively with Health Sciences to develop a CE to Credit pathway for non-credit completer students into

Expand Dental Assistant courses that continue to build student skills (Healthcare Careers PM)
Support the development and implementation of Dual Enrollment programs in Healthcare offered at Frederick High

Develop courses that expand CEWD reach in untapped market of transportation (Business Solutions and Strategic

Identify opportunities in CEWD to develop and support BioTech pipeline (Career & Technology PM & Business

Develop apprenticeship pathways through articulation agreements (CATI Manager)
Collaborate with academic areas to help identify and build coursework to support student credentialing needs
