Building Summary

The Central Plant houses the hot and chilled water systems for

the campus serving the four original buildings (A, B, C, D) as well

as auxiliary support spaces and the work shop area.

The building is in fair condition. However, the building’s chilled

and hot water systems and the majority of the underground

piping infrastructure – some of which are original from 1969 –

are well beyond the expected useful life and require replacement

in the near future. The hot water boilers are scheduled for

replacement this year due to equipment failures.
