1. Strengthen the Gen Ed CORE competencies that reflect the knowledge, skills, and values needed for success in academic career, personal
and professional endeavors
2. Adjust Gen Ed courses and/or CORE structure as needed using data from the ongoing Gen Ed assessment process

FY 20 Utilize data from ongoing assessment process to make needed changes to courses and CORE structure.
Review cultural competence general education requirement (expectations and implementation)
FY 21 Complete research of trends in general education competencies
Explore digital literacy or medial literacy as Gen Ed competencies

FY 22 Develop or utilize appropriate tools to measure satisfaction of recent grads with skills learned/level of preparation for
workplace/continued education
Revise or update Gen Ed CORE and competencies according to research, faculty recommendation, best practices
FY 23 Develop timeline for ongoing Gen Ed CORE review

FY 24 Review general education assessment process and revise as appropriate
Implement new general education competencies as appropriate
