Theme II:  Support and Infrastructure

 Goal:  To enhance academic and student services and infrastructure to effectively and efficiently support

 learning.



 Strategic Priority 7:  Support student success in all learning environments by providing curricular systems, library systems and resources, virtual

 learning and assessment environments, instructional technologies, and innovative technology solutions necessary to support teaching and
 enhance affordable access to learning.

 Desired Outcomes
 1.  Improve internal productivity of AACEWD operations through the implementation of an electronic catalog and curriculum system that

 streamlines curricular operations and other technology solutions that improve AACEWD operations
 2.  Ensure that library databases, content resources, and systems meet current and future instructional needs
 3.  Expand and streamline testing center capacity, services, and systems to meet the placement and assessment needs of AACEWD programs
 and the community
 4.  Increase affordability by building the capacity, databases, and systems to scale and sustain the adoption of no/lost costs texts and OER in
 support of providing affordable access to learning

 FY20   Identify targeted areas for expanding the use of Blackboard for continuing education courses based on priorities, capacity,
 and resources
    Conduct a review and analysis of library databases, content resources, and systems in meeting the needs of current and
    future instruction, AACEWD programming, and priorities (e.g, OER)

    Analyze the strengths and gaps of testing center processes, technologies, and systems in meeting the needs of current and
 future AACEWD programming and priorities
 FY20 – 21   Purchase, test, train users, and implement the technology solution that streamlines catalog and curriculum operations

    Conduct a due diligence review of the LMS to ensure to ensure it effectively meets the needs of current and future
 instruction, AACEWD programming, and priorities (in collaboration with IT)
