Expand and strengthen the use of existing and new technology solutions related to academic support (e.g., the student
success alert, online tutorials and tutoring, online student course evaluations, and advising tools) in support of student
success in online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses (in collaboration with Learning Support)
FY21 Establish an online learning and instructional innovation committee to review the existing Distributed Learning Plan
and develop a new three-year online learning and instructional technology plan that supports the online and hybrid
enrollment growth, expansion of LMS in face-to-face courses, and establishes goals and priorities for the use of virtual
reality, adaptive learning, and specialized technology in career and technical programs (in collaboration with IT)
Develop a three-year library services plan
Develop a three-year testing center services plan (in collaboration with IT and Facilities L-building renovation)
Develop a three-year plan for OER scalability and sustainability that supports faculty in the development and maintenance
of OER, reduces textbook costs, and supports student learning
FY22 Implement the outcomes of the LMS due diligence review
Review and make recommendations regarding the efficacy and use of technology solutions related to academic support
services and instruction in support of student success and instruction in online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses
Collaborate with IT to explore affordable learning technologies options for students (e.g., “bring you own device”)
FY22 – 24 Implement the three-year instructional technology plan; align plan with faculty professional development plan (in
collaboration with IT plan)
Implement the three-year library services plan
Implement the three-year testing center services plan (in collaboration with IT and Facilities)
Implement the three-year no/low text and OER plan and integrate in faculty professional development plan
